That is exactly why we built two free helpers at Juvéa Miel: the AI skin advisor, which answers your questions around the clock, and the AI skin analysis by photo, which puts together a matching routine from our range in just a few seconds. Here is how both work, what the AI can do – and what it can’t.

Why we built an AI for your skin
In a store you can ask a sales assistant – online you are often left alone with product descriptions and reviews. Our goal: advice that feels like talking to someone who really knows K-beauty – any time and without sales pressure. The AI knows our entire range including ingredients and only recommends products we actually have in stock and ship from Germany.
The AI skin advisor: your questions, answered instantly
You will find the skin advisor on every page of our shop (the round 🌸 button) and in our app. You can ask it anything about your skincare, for example:
- “I have combination skin with redness – where do I start?”
- “Can I use niacinamide and vitamin C together?”
- “Which sunscreen works well under make-up?”
- “Is this serum suitable for sensitive skin?” – right on the product page
Answers arrive in seconds, with specific product suggestions you can view or add to your cart straight away. The AI also explains the why: what each ingredient does and in which order to apply it.
The AI skin analysis by photo: how it works
The skin analysis is even easier. Instead of answering questions, you simply show the AI a selfie:
- Take or upload a photo – ideally in daylight, without make-up, facing the camera straight on.
- Add optional details – for example sensitive skin, allergies (such as to fragrance or essential oils) or pregnancy/breastfeeding.
- See your result – after a few seconds you see five skin zones (forehead, cheeks, nose, chin) with an assessment of redness, shine, pores, blemishes and dryness.
- Choose a routine – a basic routine with 3 products (cleanser, serum, sunscreen) or a complete routine with 5 steps (cleanser, toner, serum, cream, sunscreen). Add everything to your cart with one tap.
Afterwards you can ask follow-up questions in the chat: “Why this serum?” or “Is there a cheaper option?”. The AI only knows your result at that point – not your photo.
What the AI does especially well
- Takes allergies seriously: if you mention an intolerance, products containing the relevant ingredients are filtered out automatically – based on the real ingredient list.
- Considers pregnancy: during pregnancy and breastfeeding, the AI does not suggest retinoids.
- Stays honest: for severe acne, open wounds or unusual moles, the AI first recommends seeing a dermatologist – instead of simply selling products.
- Recommends only the real thing: it suggests products from our shop only – 100 % original, shipped from Germany.
What the AI is not
As helpful as it is: our AI provides cosmetic skincare advice, not a medical diagnosis. It assesses your skin by its appearance – this does not replace a visit to a dermatologist. Like any AI, it can occasionally be wrong. If you are unsure, ask a follow-up question or contact our customer service.
Your data: safe and minimal
- Your photo is not stored. It is resized in your browser, transmitted once in encrypted form for the analysis and discarded afterwards.
- No stored chats: the chat history only stays in your browser and disappears when you close the tab.
- No AI training with your data: our AI provider Anthropic (model “Claude”) does not use the transmitted data for training.
- Only with your consent: before the photo analysis you confirm your consent with a checkbox (16 years and older).

Frequently asked questions
Does the AI skin analysis cost anything?
No. The skin advisor and skin analysis are completely free and you don’t need an account.
How accurate is the skin analysis?
It gives you a good first assessment of your skin – especially in good daylight and without make-up. It is, however, a cosmetic assessment and not a medical examination.
Are my photos stored or shared?
No. The photo is only transmitted for the analysis and discarded afterwards. We store neither photos nor chat histories.
Does the analysis work with make-up?
Yes, but less accurately. For the best result: clean face, daylight, camera at eye level.
Can the AI answer questions about my order?
For orders, our customer service is there for you – and in the app you can see your orders and shipping status after signing in.
